Very good food! Kirby was an amazing person and helped us decide what to order. Don't skip dessert! The banana brulee was delicious, and the butterscotch pudding is to die for! My gluten free wife had no problems finding yummy food.
Alfie was fantastic! He explained every part of the menu and could not have enjoyed it more. The tortellini and the meatloaf were excellent. Saw a ton of reviews mentioning the butterscotch pudding and it is a must have. Enjoy
Alfie (our waiter) was amazing. Full of energy and gave us all the details we could ever want. He was friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable. Full of energy. The place has such charm, and the food is fresh and prepared just-so. Definitely an enjoyable experience.
This restaurant offers excellent service, but parking at the location requires attention. The dishes are unique, although the lamb shank was too salty. The corn soup is delicious, and the baby pork chops are tasty. However, the table placement is a bit cramped. Overall, it's a good experience!
Wonderful place for lunch. We had one of the best meat loafs. Waitress is very friendly and warm. Location is very convenient right at the heart of St Helena downtown along all the retail shops.
First time in Santa Rosa and decided to check out The Market Restaurant! So glad we did and the service was super friendly, already feeling like home. I ordered the pork chop and wow, it was incredible! Perfectly grilled, juicy, and everything hit the spot.
Had anniversary dinner here. The staff was super nice. Had round of oysters and few appetizers and one main. The apps were fine (lobster was my favorite) but we had a special ravioli with filet mignon and it was mediocre at best. Drinks were fine. Overall, we had a nice dinner.
We had an amazing dinner here tonight. It was a busy Friday evening, but the manager found us a place to sit at the bar within about 10 minutes, and apologized for the wait (which was totally unnecessary). I had the surf and turf daily special and my wife had the filet medallions. We shared the butterscotch pudding for dessert, which I would highly recommend. The staff was attentive and the kitchen cooked our steaks to perfection. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in St. Helena
We popped in for a early light dinner and was pleased. The oysters were fresh and tasty, the crab Louie salad was very good, and my persimmon pear salad was on point. Thank goes to Megan for making our time there enjoyable! Her service was attentive with just enough silliness thrown in to make us laugh. Oh! The butterscotch pudding for dessert was scrumptious! Thank you to the whole team in making our dining experience wonderful.
Amazing dinner spot. Came in for anniversary dinner, with a reservation. The place is cozy and inviting without pretentiousness. We were greeted and seated right away. The service was friendly and professional. We started with fresh oysters and untasted that was surprising ( savory umami explosion of mushroom and just enough truffle oil, Delicious!!) and shared a Luis Salad and the amazing Adult Mac-n-cheese with steak. Highly recommend!
